Dr Emily Kirkpatrick is Managing Director of EKology and a medical practitioner, health administrator and company director. She has served as Deputy Chief Public Health Officer and Deputy Chief Medical Officer for South Australia and as COVID Community Commander, and is a non-executive director of Healthdirect Australia, UNE Life, the AMA (SA), Doctors Health SA, GPEx Ltd, Kalyra Aged Care and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. A Fellow of RACGP, RACMA, ACHSM, ISQua and RSPH, she is also an Associate Professor at Adelaide University and Senior Clinical Lecturer with the Australian Institute for Machine Learning. She advises boards on clinical governance, AI governance and health system transformation.
